@biljir care to comment on any of these words. If it will help you can copy and paste the list into http://app.aspell.net:/lookup-freq to rank them all against Google's ngrams corpus.
Oh, so many words!
First of all, I would call the abbreviation QA as important to add.
Other good words without any comments:
multiyear contrarian(s) majoritarian(s) absurdist(s) handclap(etc) Frodo, Gandalf, Tolkienesque Rastafarians Winesaps
Comments on other words:
intuitionism is a specialist's word. It is an important branch of the philosophy of mathematics, and I think it may be used elsewhere in philosophy as well. It is too specialized for me to recommend it. logicism is the same sort of thing, but even less used.
I recommend you add reverb, but reverbs looks to me like a Scrabble-only word.
multithread, etc., are way to computer-geeky for me, but knowing your audience, you'll add 'em.
I am currently taking amoxicillin. It is a common, very powerful antibiotic. I have no idea which of the y spelling or the i spelling is more common, but my prescription used an i. I think I would add this word if I were you.
rhotic is a linguistic word. I know it because of my interest in the English language. It's a specialist word, but perhaps of more interest than intuitionism.
digicam is listed in ESL dictionaries. This makes me believe it should definitely be added.
My intuition tells me that cosplay etc. has escaped into the world outside, i.e., is showing up in news stories and the like. Accordingly, it is a good candidate for inclusion.
I don't think that the word passphrase is very common yet, though I could be wrong. Additionally it is often written as two words. However, I imagine you'll be putting it in. :)
I realized out of the blue that I had breezed right past "theremin", which is an early 20th-century electronic musical instrument, and still sometimes used by composers wanting an unearthly sound. Not all THAT common, but I'd say that if you presently list "dobro", then you probably should list "theremin" as well. Not that the two have much to do with one another, except for both being musical instruments, but I'd guess they're of equal obscurity.
Thank you both, see my commit for what I added.
@biljir "dobro" is included but the plural is not. In addition "dobros" is to close to "debris" so I think I will leave it out. "theremin" is not in there so I will add, but I think I will leave the plural out
Hello Kevin!
Tonight I entered feature freeze for en_GB.
A guy said he was going to send me a list of finance terms but so far nothing... so, I can't wait for his list.
On 2015-03-01 I will update English for Mozilla (GB) and English for OpenOffice (GB+US+CA).
I believe that I mentioned it before: I created a test .OXT with your latest US+CA so that I could test my latest additions to GB before writing here.
Please notice that some of the following words may be GB specific.
