Can't run find-var in Windows #124

Closed ooker777 closed 8 years ago

Stupid question here. I have installed Strawberry to run the find-var in Windows. I try to run it by going to the directory and execute it by using: perl find-var 'word' But there is an error:

D:\Python\agid-2014.08.11\agid-2014.08.11>perl find-var "word"
Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated, passed through in regex; marked by
<-- HERE in m/^([A-Za-z\']+)([~<!?]*)(| [\d.]+)(| { <-- HERE \S+})$/ at find-var
 line 68.
The system cannot find the path specified.
Died at find-var line 25.

What should I do? Thanks.

The "find-var" script is an internal script that it is not really supported.

What are you trying to do?

ooker777 commented 9 years ago

well, I read in the README that it is used to

create the variant lists and cross reference file.

But thinking back again, I don't think that simple task will need those much lines of code.

You should't need to use those scripts. Any files it generates should already be included in AGID.
