@biljir any comments?

I have my usual objections to situ and hoc.

I think (but am nowhere near sure) that "antifa" should be "Antifa", but agree that the word itself, in some form, should be included.

"embiggen", of course, was a joke word; has its usage now left that domain? Just asking. If it is to be considered legitimate, all the verb forms should be included.

I'm dubious about welp, which could easily be a misspelling for whelp. I don't doubt its existence (though I hadn't run into it yet), but it hasn't been recognized by mainstream dictionaries yet.

I am pleased by the addition of tzatziki. :)

I have no strong feelings about the others, except that I have always hated woah. But as Oxford endorses it, I won't argue against it.

@nanake I am against adding short words sock as "hoc" that are not proper words in there own right because they can easily hid misspellings of similar words and will tend to clutter the suggestion list. The proper way to add it is as "ad hoc" but that as of now is outside of the scope of SCOWL.

kevina commented 6 years ago

@nanake actually I partly take back what I said, "hoc" is already in there so I added "situ". I generally avoid words like that but make exceptions for very common ones and "hoc" and "situ" counts.

"oy" on the other hand I will pas on adding.

kevina commented 6 years ago

Okay I added some but not all of the words. If you disagree strongly that some of the excluded words should be included than please open a separate issue.
