See Wikipedia.org: "Metric prefix" > List of SI Prefixes.
In November 2022, these 4 prefixes were just added:
quetta-
ronna-
ronto-
quecto-
In 1991, these 4 were added:
yotta-
zetta-
zepto-
yocto-
Perhaps this list of SI prefixes can be auto-combined with...
and potentially:
-s
For example:
ronnagram
ronnagrams
ronnajoule
ronnajoules
quettavolt
quettavolts
Some of these combos may not make sense for units <1...
Like a:
makes no sense, but a:
does!
Related: #360 just asked about adding SI prefixes to an .aff file, but I'm unsure. These prefixes aren't used before ANY word, only a small subset.
.aff
See:
Seems like a lot of data science is reaching the large scale.
(But, as usual, some of these combos are probably going to be extremely rare. At that big/small, usually it's easier to just use scientific notation.)
Even SI prefixes added in the 1960s/1970s:
barely show up in SCOWL:
petabyte (60)
petabytes (60)
petajoule (60)
petajoules (60)
petawatt (60)
petawatts (60)
These 4 are more common + show up a lot:
And back to rare:
yocto

SI Prefix + SI Unit = Valid New Words
Perhaps this list of SI prefixes can be auto-combined with...
1) SI Base Units
2) SI Derived Units
3) Common Units
and potentially:
4) Add an

on the end.For example:
