What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to "Services->FTP" in web UI.
2. Click the "Stop" button. The service doesn't stop.
3. "Restart" also doesn't restart the service.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the service to be stopped. Instead I see "Status: FTPD is running".
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SNAKE OS V1.3.2 (20111007)
Please provide any additional information below.
Apparently there is a bug in /etc/init.d/ftpsvc . The stop command should run
"pkill -9 -f "vsftpd" instead of "pkill -f -9 "vsftpd" (switch between -f &
-9). After the fix everything works fine.
