6 years ago Hi there, the problem you described also happens with fanfox and it is exactly what you noticed. I've been waiting for them to fix this for some time now. The thing is:
- Both fanfox and mangahere loads the chapter list from a special javascript file published by their server. However, this file does not updates as soon as a new chapter is added to the database. It lacks behind for some days, and that is the reason the dropdown list doesn't show the latest chapters sometimes.
As you have guessed, Foxy parses the chapters from the page's dropdown and that is preventing it from showing its right sidebar. I could change the framework to load the chapters from the main page instead, but that means Foxy will have to request and parse a new page in the background, which could be bad for people with slower internet connections.
I will modify the code so it shows at least the home and bookmark buttons in this case, but I won't make it load chapters from the main page (at least for now).

Lately in a lot of cases Foxy-reader can't draw me the right sidebar for Mangahere (mostly if it's newer chapters).
I think the issue is related to that the chapters don't show up in the dropdown list ibn mangahere once you've opened any chapter (they are available if you go into the main manga view)
