A list of potential resources we might generate during the Sprint:

[ ] workshop material on at-risk data collection and archiving
[ ] collecting data stories (why does public data matter to you? what would happen if it disappeared?)
[ ] more beginner-friendly workshops (e.g., not R/JS/programming)
[ ] linking out to recorded video / webinars
[ ] Create a new workshop collaboratively during the Sprint: bring together those with similar interests to create new workshop material
[ ] Bibliography on data / endangered data
[ ] A new session for crypto parties

I have a web scraping workshop I just tried out using the Web Scraper Chrome extension (for beginner beginners). It worked out well. Is this the type of thing that might be suitable? (I'm new here - just checking!)

We're working on creating better contribution guides/guidelines, but we'd be happy to help figure out a way to include your workshop material.

Great - thanks! Just trying to think of the best format. Wright now it's a couple of handouts and a slide deck. Maybe there's a better way?

Handouts and a slide deck work great! We'll work on trying to get a contributing guide up in the next week or so, but I'd also be happy to help you with forking this repository so you can add your material and submit a pull request for us to accept.

what they are & why the are important
how they're made
how they're used
what are their limitations / issues

Could be a handout, a video, presentation materials. (I realize this may be in the weeds a little for some folx but it is a relatively simple introduction to many important concepts for data stability and preservation) Something like this video but from an applied, digital curation/preservation perspective
