Disclaimer:
Sorry for my audacity, I am trying to get some attention from fellow XPS 13 2 in 1 7390 owners. I am not actually on Manjaro, but on Arch. But I could Image that this (admittedly specific) Issue affects you too.
My Issue:
Short version:
I have / LUKS encrypted and decrypt it via the "encrypt" hook. The mechanism for turning the keyboard / touchpad on and off depending on the lid position does not behave as intended during the initramfs stage of boot. Precisely: If the device is in "tablet / folded" mode at the beginning of boot sequence, the keyboard will not come on at the decryption prompt no matter what. Which, due to the way I use the device, has me plug in my backup-usb-keyboard allmost every time I reboot / resume from hibernation. The keyboard also doesn't turn off when folding the device back during said prompt, but I don't care too much about that. I assume its due to initramfs not handling the acpi events for the lid correctly. And I am trying to figure out whether this is specific to this device somehow, or maybe even my unit.
Long version, including what I tried so far: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=255938
Has anyone observed such behavior as well or has anyone observed it working? Any lead would be highly appreciated!
