Gary: The AltConsole application for Windows ("waltconsole") is contained in
a "cocotron" svn directory that expects to be installed as "ccl:cocotron;".
Eventually, that directory will be part of the Windows svn tree, but it's
not yet; you need to do:
windows command prompt> cd ccl/cocotron
windows command prompt> svn up
(or equivalent) manually (it's not automatically updated as part of an
"svn up" in the ccl directory.)
Aside from "waltconsole", the cocotron directory contains the AppKit
and Foundation frameworks, so it's important to keep this up to date.

Are you not satisfied with the Windows AltConsole implementation?
Copy and paste in a Windows console window is possible. Go to the window's
window menu (i.e., click on the
window's icon in the upper left.) Use Edit>Mark to mark the are you want to
copy with the mouse. Then use
Edit>Copy to copy the text.
