firmware E400xl C 427 color lcd bltouch #12

I upgraded my Ender 3 V2 some time ago now and could not get the firmware updated at the time so I dusted it off to try again.

for my setup, it is the 4.2.7 with a BL touch that is not plugged into the Zmin and has color LCD (but not touch)

I believe firmware_E400XL_CREALITY_427_COLORLCD_BLTOUCH would be the correct bin file however when I try to auto home it does not move not a single axis then says "homing failed".

I can be persistent so I tried several other bin files and had small luck with the Zmin file. meaning that everything moves and works correctly except for the BL touch which is understandable because it is NOT plugged into the z port.

please advise on what I can do.

Sincerely,

Scott L.

Hmmm.. depends on the bltouch. You might want to confirm the wires are going to the right pins on the board.

Firmware is located on this website. Alternatively if you have a V2 printer using 4.2.7 boards you can google "marlin professional firmware" and they have a precompiled version. You can set the bed size in the LCD on that firmware.

Thank you I took that information and went ahead and ordered the BL touch cable to plug it into the Zmin. I will confirm if it works as soon as I can if anyone else is having the same issue.
