It seems unclear that the release is GA.
https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.4/en/faqs-general.html#faq-mysql-version-ga says " MySQL 8.4 and 8.0 are actively supported for production use. " but does not use GA.
The Wikipedia citation for the releases says
Hoydalsvik, Geir (30 April 2024). "What Is New in MySQL 8.4 since MySQL 8.0(Generally Available)". Retrieved 30 April 2024.
But the current title of that page does not say "Generally Available".
I think it might be just some wording, before was using GA in the title, but now it uses LTS release (as it has the LTS release term now)
I'm gonna wait for a bit here - till atleast the release shows up in the blog or in the lifecycle PDF.
