Collectors without empties / recessed empties so that it doesn't pick up any items. Water mod checks for collector block center and ignores empty when determining whether it can take in water.
Has toolbar / terminal actions for "balancing buoyancy" and maybe also "ascend" and "descend". It would control whatever methods the grid has for changing buoyancy and thus make submarine control much easier.
Would be fun to make a few blocks dedicated for use with water mod.
