I will include them in the next msp430 core update. Reason why I removed them is that initially planned to move to msp430-elf-gcc which has a significant code size increase and the simplest Sketch would not fit these 2 boards. Since I am not planning to move to msp430-elf-gcc until later this year, I'll include them again.

Did you test anything using the Serial port?
