Investigation: The altitude of the station should be 122m, not 2815 m.
Request: Is the data automatically linked to and updated through GSA (Global Solar Atlas)? Can you update the data entry from your side? Or this needs to be done by whoever created/uploaded the dataset? Or this needs to be checked by GSA people? Let me know. Thanks a lot!
Hi Jodie,
a user reported a data entry error in the dataset https://energydata.info/dataset/tanzania-solar-radiation-measurement-data
Background: The users wants to use the Solar Radiation Measurement Data from Tanzania at the Dar Es Salaam Station. However, the altitude of the station above sea level provided does not match the altitude at the coordinates in Google Earth nor the Solargis atlas, e.g. https://apps.solargis.com/prospect/map?c=6.533645,38.954773,9&s=6.78,39.2&m=mapbox-streets&l=true
Investigation: The altitude of the station should be 122m, not 2815 m.
