Offline List NullPointerException #26

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I put some GPX-files converted from loc-files by gpsbabel in the download
folder and clicked sync in the Offline List.

Instead of importing the files there was an exception and since then the
exception repeats every time I try to access the Offline List.

I have used the version from Android Market (downloaded April 10, 2009) on
a Google Dev Phone 1.

Unfortunately at this point we only support gpx files which come from
Groundspeak pocket queries. I hope to
add loc file support soon. In the meanwhile, you may need to
uninstall/reinstall geobeagle to get it to stop
crashing.

Hope that helps,

Steve

I uninstalled and reinstalled and at least the crashes are gone.

It isn't possible to add locations manually?

Ok, I found out that the button "Edit Geocache" in the options menu also can be
used
to add caches manually.

Thanks, now I will try some geoaching.

yes, you can "add my location" and then edit that, but I admit the user
interface could be a lot better.

Marking this as closed because we can now import loc files.
