Interface redesign (tabbed view) #71

I had some thoughts about a more elegant user interface for GeoBeagle.
Having a tabbed view (maybe: search, list, details, radar, map) would make
all major features immediately accessable with one click.

I did some tests with the android SDK and tabs, but I always ran into
NullPointerExceptions in eclipse, which seems to be an error in the SDK, as
many people get it just after adding empty tabs.

It would be a nice thing though ;-)

A tabbed view has been discussed. Interesting idea but it's a major task.
Screenshots from other applications and more mock-ups would help to determine a 
good
layout.

I'd like GeoBeagle to work more like the Maps app, which does not use tabs.
