Missing Icons (Letterbox Hybrid) #74

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download a PQ that includes Virtual or Letterbox Hybrid caches.
2. Notice that these caches have no icons in the cache list.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect icons for all cache types. I see them only for Traditional, Multi,
and Mystery/Puzzle caches.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Correct, all cache types don't have an icon.
Until complete graphics has been added, I suggest a CacheType instance named
"DEFAULT".

This bug also concerns LOC imports, which don't contain cache type information.

Also, apart from the cache list, there is also no marker on the map display for
the
cache either, which doesn't really help with the map display ... (tested on
V0.9.2)

Commit 685-686 addresses this issue by enabling icons for Earthcaches and
Virtual
Caches. Six waypoint types from geocaching.com are also added.
"Letterbox Hybrid" is a cache I haven't seen... that one will still not show
up. If
someone posts how this and other missing cache types are named in GPX files, it
will
be easy for me to add them also.

When this is eventually released, you will need to reimport the caches to see
the
icons. The reason is that GeoBeagle haven't stored the type of unknown caches.
(To reuse the same GPX files as was previously imported, change the export
timestamp
at the top of those files. Otherwise GeoBeagle will ignore them.)

I'm attaching the GPX entry for the letterbox hybrid that I've found.
