The market actually prevents you from downloading it if your screen is not the
right
size, so this is a pretty rare issue. If you go to the market with a 240x320
screen,
geohashdroid will not appear.
So this issue is only for those of us who can't afford a new phone and have
crammed
Android onto our old 240x320 winmo phones. Can't imagine any other xkcd readers
doing
that...

Actually, this burned a co-worker of mine who crammed Android on HIS old 240x320
phone, too. This is because GHD is currently a 1.5 app, which was made before
ANY of
the multiple-screen support came in, meaning that not only does it not report
any
support for small screens (the Market problem), but it isn't designed for it,
either.

Facts which, I'll note, are the primary things I'm addressing in 0.7.2 (thus
making
it a 1.6 app), which I'm working on now. :-)

(note to Motorola CLIQ users: I'm planning on leaving compatibility hooks to
make it
run under 1.5, so you won't be left out in the cold)

Oh, and sorry it took me so long to respond. I could swear I set this up to
notify
me via email if someone files an issue...

All righty... I just uploaded version 0.7.2-pre1 to the website. That, amongst
other
things, has support for multiple screen sizes, including QVGA support. It uses
a
button to call up a dialog instead of putting the massive date picker on the
main
screen. Plus, it uses slightly tweaked fonts in the details screen once you've
got
the day's point.

I've tested this in the emulator and it's working right there, but I've learned
the
hard way that it's not always perfectly accurate when it comes to layout
matters.
Could you please test it out?

Since QVGA support for GHD has been live on the Market for a while now, I'm
marking
this issue is closed, since I haven't had any complaints about the layouts yet.
 If
there's any further layout problems, feel free to file a new issue.
