I would like to have a function to do live tracking to OpenGTS.

This will allow us to setup an open source fleet tracking solution.

I used the mobile trail explore
http://www.substanceofcode.com/software/mobile-trail-explorer/ for a long time
though it's a great program it is difficult to get working on Android.

But it had one feature to rule them all, and that was the ability to make a
custom http request with different GPS values as parameters eg.

http://www.gpsuploadsite.com/?latitude=@LAT@&longitude=@LON@&speed=@SPD@&heading
=@HEAD@&trackid=@ID@

That way the stream function is not locked to one service, and opens the
possibility to use other languages like PHP ASP.NET to create the "tracking"
pages.

Ofcause it should still be possible to select default settings for known sites..

Live tracking to custom http requests is in the 1.3 release.

The OpenGTS live tracking remains an open issue.

Yes, I've also tested the HTTP posting feature and it doesnt seem to work. The
program doesn't post the current location to a server. Does anybody have a
solution for this?

It's working on version 1.3.2. But I have small problem which is minimum length
& minimum time between 02 tracks. Can we change these values to lower than 1KM
or 01 Minute?

I'd like to use this program simply for streaming GPS locations to my own
server. This HTTP posting feature seems to be the right thing, but I couldn't
set the program up to send any request to my server. Does thi feature work?
