The scrolling SHOULD improve after the application is done updating some things
in
the background. When it's first launched it attempts to get your following
list and
timelines in the background. Once those are done, the scrolling should improve.
Does scrolling not get better after 30 seconds of running?

Well, you are right, scrolling with holding the finger *on* the screen now
better
follows finger movements. But f.e. trying to reach one end of the list by doing
a
faster finger movement up or down (and then lifting the finger) still shows
choppy
scrolling and became even worse in .66

News: Scrolling gets even smoother using this xda-developers registry hack
(http://is.gd/lF1r). Only fast scrolling to top or bottom of the list is still a
little choppy.

perhaps it would be better to increase the delay before accepting a click
(before
launching an url for example). or introduce a setting to increase this delay.
on my
ipaq 614c pocketwit sometimes think that i'm clicking although i just want to
scroll.
