Monitoring changes/comments on applications #61

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
There is no way to see from the application index that the application has
had comments added since it was last viewed. This makes it time consuming
to work collaboratively with other mentors through the website because
every application must be rechecked on each visit.

Suggest a coding system on the index page - perhaps bold text for
applications the mentor hasn't accessed at all, italic for ones that have
been accessed but have changed since, and plain text for applications that
have been accessed and haven't changed since.

I don't know about a fancy marking system. Another option would be to show the
"date
last modified" on the application list page.

Alternatively, have email notifications when comments are posted. That's
probably
another enhancement request already.

It would be great to have something. Right now, for those of us who need to
review
changed applications, it is necessary to check each one individually, which is,
of
course time-consuming and error-prone.
