502 Error on proposal updates. #87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Modify the abstract (or other part) of the proposal.
2. Click "Update"
3. A 502 Error page comes up.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- I expected the update to go through. Instead it did not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- I am on Linux, using FF 2.0

Please provide any additional information below.

Perhaps as a result of these errors, I lost the ability to submit revisions
to the proposal proper. I tried, received the 502, and since then, I no
longer see the editable text areas. Trying simply to edit the abstract
results in the same error.
