Add note about location of tilde key in /run help #59

I've seen a lot of people confused about the character used for code blocks in Discord, so adding a note to /run should make it easier to use.

The Problem with that is, that for a good number of people, the key is not there. (including me)

What kind of keyboard do you have? If the tilde key isn't present at all, like on ios, then it might be a good idea to remove the need for a codeblock.

brtwrst commented 3 years ago

Doesn't matter what keyboard I have, I have a tilde key - it's nowhere near the back tick key that is required here. Replacing a missing information that confuses some people with an information that is just plain wrong and extra confusing for a potentially sizeable portion of people is just not a good option.

And removing the codeblock requirement is a terrible idea.

xjzi commented 3 years ago

Why is the codeblock necessary?

brtwrst commented 3 years ago

To make it readable for others mainly.

Maybe just telling people that the backtick is not the same as the single quote could be helpful.

It's quite simple in my mind. We have an explanation with an example that works. People who use discord can be asked to learn /look up how to use the codeblock feature (which is really just markdown). If someone struggles with this so much that he can't use the bot, maybe it's not the right field of work /study for them.
