The gem available on rubygems.org doesn't match the code here on github.
The 0.5.5 release included this commit http://github.com/engineyard/eycap/commit/f8d7e082f199fe7f4b751029ee04dbe6d60e4237
The 0.5.6 release does not include the changes from that commit, causing a regression. I don't know if there were any other regressions in that release.
Latest version resolves.
