Great to see! If you need any input by all means just let me know - I'm pretty sure my plug-in will need at least some refinement to work well with Tiled stuff.

Besides issues,do you have a list of features planned to future versions? I really want this feature, but I only see be pushed away...

I work off of GitHub, the issues here are my roadmap. I only recently assigned it to a planned version, v2.2

This is a non-trivial feature and I have many modules and side projects (in addition to my day job) to work on. Alone, it is unlikely I will get to this anytime soon.
