My emails were from the earliest date of a secondary file. Let me explain.
Normally,
one has a folder structure that looks like this:
Personal Folders
   Inbox
   Outbox
   etc.

I have:

Personal Folders
   Inbox
   Outbox
   etc.
Archive Folders
   Inbox
   Outbox
   etc.
Client Folders
   Client 1
   Client 2
   etc.
   Client XX
      Email 1
      etc.
      Email 199 (for example)

----
Emails 199 on (so to speak) down are re-downloading to my Outlook once I turn
on POP
fetching.

I hope this was useful.

Cheers
john

Even i had tthe same problem. what i did was, i went to settings in my web mail
account, "forwarding and pop/imap" and there i clickedon "Enable POP for mail
that
arrives from now on"

This resolves my problem.

Enabling the pop mail to "Enable pop for mail that arrives from now on"
resolves my
problem, however, when i again upload other mails, again downloads the newly
uploaded
mail. is there any solution for this?
