Hi! I would like to suggest more options that can enhance the Mute Users toggle:
Hide muted users' stories Stories section of the feed
Hide muted users' names from likes or at least not show them in preview of likes. Example:
Let's say I recently followed user2 and we have mutual followers, like user1. User1 posts a photo, so Instagram will automatically show recently followed users in the likes, like "Liked by user2, user4, and 213 others". I mute user1, so can user1 not appear in the preview of the likes or at least in all of the likes?
We're muting these users so their posts don't show up in our feed, but we're still seeing their names in stories and likes.
