Adwhirl 3.0.0 with AdMob 4.1.1 suddenly shows faster ad refresh rate than set in the console #289

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Our AdMob impression count has suddenly more than doubled
2. It seems that AdRefresh rate being set in AdWhirl console (180secs) is not
taking effect
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We were expecting the adwhirl refresh rate of 180secs to give us the normal
number of impressions. However we're getting more than double number of
impressions leading to reduced CTRs and eCPM

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This is happening with AdWhirl 3.0.0 and AdMob 4.1.1 combination. Happening
across all Android OS versions.

Please provide any additional information below.
This problem started to happen recently (about 2-3 days back)

Have you seen this with AdMob v4.3.1? Are you observing a broken refresh rate
on the device? Do you have logging output?

Have you disabled AdMob's own refresh timer? You should be relying solely on
AdWhirl's.

Wes, the problem resolved by itself without needing a change at my end. I had
checked and the server settings for refresh on admob were off.

Something's fishy because for a different app (iOS) the impressions on AdMob
suddenly halved around Feb 6th and there was no way I could explain this drop
(there was no release/no code change/no config change on adwhirl). At the same
time for another much smaller iOS app the impressions suddenly shot by by a
huge number. This corrected itself about 4 days back again without any
intervention at my end. Is there a possiblity that the adwhirl config got mixed
up between the two iOS apps.

No sure if the above makes sense but its really strange. Plus reporting on
adwhirl seems to be showing weird behaviour again resulting in in our inability
to detect when something's wrong with the product.
