good idea. i like inlet for the pieces of code better. what should we call the lib? something river related? fly? On Apr 16, 2014 7:31 AM, "Geoffery Miller" notifications@github.com wrote:
It seems to me that Inlet has two meanings with regards to Tributary:
- Inlet the library that provides some UI elements integrated with codemirror
- An Inlet on Tributary, which is a hosted site showing some code and a visualization
I think we should consider changing the name of this library to remove this confusion.

I like fly. I feel like the concept is to provide UI elements that let you interact with code rather than typing it, so you can fiddle around and explore. A fly flying around the water could be a neat analogy for it. Or maybe something you would do when playing near a river: skipping stones or maybe watertubing
yeah, it also reminds me of fly fishing, trying to tease out something from underwater by fiddling with a few parameters.

With building-blocks this naming issue wont be as prevelant https://github.com/enjalot/building-blocks I'm going to be deprecating tributary with the release of building-blocks. I think this library can stand on its own now!
It's great to see fresh activity here, the Inlet library is so cool!
