Extreme Stuttering on 1.20.4 with high render distance #22

If I raise my render distance above around 4 chunks I start to get stuttering while in the TARDIS. It gets worse as the render distance is increased.

In the overworld I can have 32 chunk render distance no problem, but as soon as I go in the TARDIS there is stuttering.

It is not tradition lag, as the game is running at 60fps with constant drops to a very low framerate for a fraction of a second, every second or so.

I don't think this is an issue on 1.20.1 version. This is without immersive portals enabled.

This is quite strange, I'll have to see if i can reproduce it.

Actually, are you using any other mods as well? Could you provide a list?

sure, here's the list:

distant horizons and more culling are disabled so they weren't loaded when I had this issue.

I will check with just mini tardis installed to see if I still have this issue

I can confirm I get the same issue with only the mini tardis mod installed.
