HASS-Variables versions <v3.4.5 won't work starting in HA 2024.7.2 #123

This is both as an FYI and that we need to update the version in the manifest as even v3.4.4 doesn't work since the manifest still says v3.4.3

Can confirm issue after upgrading core to 2024.7.2:

Setup failed for 'variable': Integration not found.

Implemented and pinned the issue for FYI of people look in here. Sorry.. Also changed minimum HA-Version.

My version is 3.4.4 and GitHub says 3.4.7 was released 2 days ago but in HA i'm not being offered an update. Is it coming soon? I've been unable to update my HA until I get 3.4.7 in.

If its not there you should just have to restart your Home-Assistant. Then it should be there.

I had already completed a restart recently. I just did another but still nothing offered.

Well its also on minimum HA-Version. So I guess you need to update your HA to at least 2024.7.2 for it to show. Or force update via redownload.
