Bootstrap dropdown (top right) and notification closing does not work on Heroku-deployed version #32

Not sure why, googled fixes don't work either. Will have to look into at a future date.

in the mean time, a hotfix was applied to give users an additional method of creating assignments until I can find the reason behind this odd bug. Looks like Heroku dislikes Bootstrap JS.

Both of these bugs work on local environments, so it's definitely Heroku related.
