merged latest changes to master #67

I merged latest changes to master. I had converted binding adapters in kotlin sample to extension functions and a little addition to readme.

@OyaCanli can you please make another PR to master? Update the README by adding the link to the Medium post and and also some screenshot which will help render some images when link is shared on social media.
