Search event feature not works

I've tried to search an event, like sales or sales_order_place_before or sales*, does not matter what I wrote into the search field, it shows me "No matches found" text.

must be some problem with project configuration, are the other features working fine? Is your project structure special in somehow? Have you tried refreshing all indexes (best way could be File > Invalidate Cache/Restart)
