Have the option to switch between American (+110) and Decimal (2.1) format

This was user requested. I feel like we have bigger priorities for now, but it's good to keep track of for later.

I don't know why but the message seems to have disappeared?

Anyway, yeah, I'm okay with just closing this, since this wasn't popular at all when we asked users about it.

oh i think that i deleted the comment because it was on the wrong issue. I do not think that we every put this up to a vote. but I am fine with it being closed ;)
