If you type slash, reset cursor to search bar #28

We were talking about this earlier.

I think the slash right to the left of the right shift key on a qwerty keyboard would be a good key to associate with returning to the search bar.

/ that character? okay question is if you are in a text box i am assuming that it should do nothing so we may need to figure out do they hit tab or something?

hmm, I can't think of a valid situation where I would hit / and not want to go straight back to the search bar.

In any of the text boxes, I can't think of a valid situation where I would hit / on purpose

book name? possibly "bookone/booktwo"

Hmm. I've never thought of that. I didn't think we supported that actually, having the sportsbook be multiple books. That field is just a text box right now, right?

uh yeah it is just a text box so they can put whatever they want in it. thats why the book name could be blah/ooh

Yeah. But then we don't want to encourage people to use the / there.

Like, if I type BetPhoenix / BetMania, the filtering won't work correctly when I try to filter my bets by BetPhoenix.

the search box and the date box both need to be able to type '/' so i made them allow it otherwise the / never shows up and always gives focus to the search box.
