reformat all md files in .contributing folder

Just adding a quick note: @tamari-gray and I discussed this some more and discovered there is no default formatter for Markdown files and the formatting was being done by Prettier

We should probably discuss the formatter options and if we actually do want autoformatting on Markdown, given there is not a default formatter.
