[Auth] Ente auth opens inside of my taskbar - making it undraggable #2061

Description

I have my taskbar set at the top of my screen and everytime I open Ente auth it'll open inside of my taskbar. I have to fullscreen it with Windows key + uparrow to then be able to drag it around my screen as the titlebar is not visible or selectable otherwise.

I think the issue is not with your taskbar but with the screen size.

It's an issue with where ente opens, no? Regardless, I believe it should be investigated as it is quite annoying. I don't know if my taskbar or screen size is to blame.

This is exactly what it is. It always opens at the top left of the desktop, maybe 10 px down & 18px right from the corner. This happens regardless of where it was when closed.

Iin the case for @caturndev the screeshot shows that they have their taskbar docked to the top of the desktop instead of the default of bottom. When it opens 10px down from the top, the title bar ends up "behind" the taskbar.

To me, that is the true issue here...and it kind of bugs me as well as I would rather my authenticator come up on my 2nd monitor -- right where it was when I last closed it. Not sure what it takes to make something "remember" position as most applications do this automatically anyway. It seems that has already been reported in #1883.
