Blink Status Lights #42

It would be nice to have an added "blink" option, similar to the "Or Lights Off" checkbox. If selected, this option would blink the status color, then return to the previous color setting. (As opposed to holding the status color)

This would allow Octohue to notify users of a status change with only a momentary disruption of the existing light/color scheme.

ex. Hue lights set to "Soho" scene (or whatever the existing configuration is) Printer completes print, blinks light(s) green, then returns to "Soho"

I was coming in here to suggest the same thing. It's been over a year since your request and there has been no mention of it so it is not looking good.

If anyone would like to take this on, I think it would be a really good feature.

Sorry folks... I'm back

I'll need to do some experiments to see how well getting the hue api to blink goes. Its probably not hard to code, but if the light response lags it will be a rather average result.
