@andrelopez Were you able to fix this? I'm having the exact same issue. Tried on Craft 3.1.34.2 version and updating to the latest 3.2.8 version didn't help.

Description
After installing, and activating, I went to create my first backup. I clicked backup and the loading spinner started spinning on the browser tab. Nothing happened for about 5 minutes so I tried:
I closed the browser and reopened it and was able to navigate around the admin panel.
