Theme Installation or Update

Hello

Ok so we tried the update/install on few themes and the results were the same. Moreover, we have several support tickets and comment reports that something is not working correctly during the updates. We know that the current version of Envato Toolkit has been tested up to Wordpress 4.1 but the official plugin should be compatible even with beta Wordpress releases.

Test environment:

• Wordpress 4.2.2
• Envato Toolkit 1.7.2
• No other plugins
• PHP 5.5 / Apache
• WP_DEBUG = true ( no errors ), WP_MEMORY_LIMIT = 256M

Error:

Downloading upgrade package from the Envato API…

Unpacking the update…

Could not create directory.

Please verify this issue and provide an update as fast as you can. This is important for every theme author at Envato Marketplace.

Last time I tried it is still not working.

I didn't have the same error. But when I tried updating the Newspaper theme from 3-4 revisions ago to the current version I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_social_counter::get_block_title_raw() in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/shortcode/td_social_counter_009.php on line 51

So it might not be properly installing the plugins as well. Currently filing a ticket with the tagDiv crew

I had the same error running the wordpress+justshop theme on Wamp server using a windows machine. I just right clicked ton www directory , unchecked the option 'read only' and apply
