Debian packages not installable #142

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Packages from here:
http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/debian/amd64/

can't be installed.

missing package avr-tinyos-base makes the other packages not installable.

Use the ubuntu repository instead:
http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu/
(or just grab the packages from pool)
The packages here were compiled on ubuntu 10.04, which has very similar program
library to debian squeeze.
Actually, if I remember correctly, these are the same exact packages.

Well, I guess we could create squeeze repository with the same packages, but
the packages were not tested on debian (although they will almost certainly
work). For now, the link was moved to the 'old' directory, so I hope there will
be no confusion because of this anymore. I will talk about the repo with Miklos
Maroti, he has write access to the tinyos.stanford.edu server.
