The package provides two programs, synergys and synergyc. Both have to be run from inside a running X-Environment to be of any use, and yes they are some sort of daemon then.

With your argumentation every windowmanager has to be renamed to ${wm}d, did you also file bugs against postfix, squid, init, gpm, apache and so on?

So i close this bug as i will not fix it, nor i think this IS a bug. (and it isn't filed on 1st of april)
