Package: synergy Version: 1.3.1-5.0~cord.de.1 Severity: important

thought about tagging 'grave' but as i have this problem only on one machine (yet)...

After upgrading to current stable on friday 13th of march 09 synergy started to crash very often (before it crashed about once a day.)

Everytime it crashed it resets the r-flag (repeat) of X.

It dies with this (DEBUG2):

synergyc: ../../src/xcb_io.c:242: process_responses: Assertion `(((long) (dpy->last_request_read) - (long) (dpy->request)) <= 0)' failed.

hth, Cord

Hello all

There seems to be a patch on the following link, that fixes the bug. On my servers with the patch applied the synergyc runs without problem.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synergy/+bug/299152

(sorry for posting twice. I found this bug report after the other bug-report. This bug-reports matches my problem better than the other.)

Greetings

severity 520008 grave thanks

I've got the same problem and it's making this package pretty much unusable for me. Moreover, a synergyc crash has caused me to inadvertently paste my screensaver password into an IRC window on my second machine.

Regarding the X repeat flag: how does one go about resetting it to a sane value after a synergy crash?

Cheers, Francois
