Hello everyone, I really want to use the sciglass database now, but I don't have Microsoft access2.0 with other versions or prompt the version is not suitable, with 2007 access2.0 will appear garbled, do you have any other way?

@ljtys I would recommend you to try SciGlass Next.

disclaimer: I’m the developer of it.

@ljtys, you will find the converted files here: https://github.com/drcassar/SciGlass. It is not trivial to navigate this database, you may want to use GlassPy (https://github.com/drcassar/glasspy) or SciGlassNext (https://sciglass.uni-jena.de/).

Thank you for your reply, I'll put it into practice, and then I'll ask you @drcassar @Lexachoc

@Lexachoc I applied for Sciglass Next, and I saw that it needs to be reviewed by the administrator, so I can agree to it. Thank you

@ljtys Hi, I have send an email to you. Please note that SciGlass Next is currently in beta testing and requires registration with institution e-mail address. I would need your response to provide me with your institution e-mail address. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Lexachoc Hello, do I need to use an institutional email address? I can use my personal email address

Lexachoc commented 1 month ago

@ljtys As I said before that we're currently in beta testing and since this service is hosted on a university server, we have to follow the relevant regulations. Therefore, only people with verified institutional email addresses can access it.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to send us an e-mail. Thank you.
