Introduce standard streams support in pipe cli #3388

Background

Currently, pipe cli commands don't work well with standard input and output streams. In specific, the following commands would benefit from supporting standard input and/or output streams natively:

Approach

Standard streams support shall be introduced to pipe cli commands.
