Figures in Methods versus Results sections #1

Hi @jzelner I taught a unit on data science this semester and introduced the students to this paper and your template. It was really good I think but I got some feedback that it was unclear what figures describing data and summary statistics would go in the Methods section and what figures and summaries should only go in the Results section. I wonder if you could comment on this distinction because I think many students will need some guidance about this. Thanks for your great contribution. Ivan Hanigan

Hi Ivan,

Thanks! This is a great question - let me think about it. If you have ideas and want to make the modifications and send me a PR that would also be great!
