In videos collected in 2018 using GoPro5 (you can identify these videos by PXX_YY instead of PXX_YYY for later recordings), the camera setting in low light results in duplicate frames - this is an issue with the camera itself. This explains the phenomena you noted above and we have this noted in our README.

I downloaded the RGB frames of a few sequences, and it seems like they are duplicated. For example,
P01_01/frame_0000000437.jpg
is identical toP01_01/frame_frame_0000000438.jpg
, thenP01_01/frame_0000000439.jpg
is identical toP01_01/frame_0000000440.jpg
, and so forth. Is that expected? If yes, what is the reasoning behind that?My main goal is to align this data with the EpicFields poses, so any help is highly appreciated. Thank you!
