This talk brings together many topics under the theme of "speaking up". It weaves in the importance of boosting women's voices, advocating for your work, giving credit where credit's due, not letting your work speak for itself (which is important in terms of job searching, being an employee, and Epicodus when it comes to taking career services work seriously), and the issue that Tech is dominated by white men, but also benefits from diversity.

We should add it to week 6 or to week 2.

The key takeaways from this talk that I get are "Speak up for yourself and for others." So it seems perfect for the lesson on speaking up that's planned for week 6. Great find! Should we make this optional or required for students? The target audience seems to be women and POC but I think it would be beneficial viewing for all students and the points made could be helpful to anyone.

I think it should be required listening for all students. It's not long, and yes, the points made will be helpful to anyone.
