Eric Norum's RTEMS Tutorial is actually in a CVS repository sub-tree containing a .tex file, several scripts for building RTEMS and a Makefile for processing the tutorial. I have extracted it into a git repo, should I push that to a new epics-docs repo?
I believe the notes I wrote for building 4.10.2 (linked from my RTEMS page) are more up-to-date than his, although they aren't particularly recent.
@hjunkes, what do you think?
I could update this start of documentation https://github.molgen.mpg.de/h1/CRYVISIL/blob/master/docs/source/software/rtems/base.rst
to RTEMS5 and EPICS 7.0.3 ...?
That would be an additional page. The question here is: Eric's tutorial or Andrew's notes? Or both? Or what?
Since I'll be on vacation from tomorrow through the weekend I pushed Eric's repo here — let me know if you want me to move it to the epics-docs organization after I get back, or feel free to convert it to .rst and I can discard this.
tnx
As discussed at the Documentathon: @anjohnson should find the source of E. Norum's tutorial, so that @ralphlange can use it to generate a version that goes into the How-Tos repository.
For the time being, the RTD site links to the existing HTML pages on the epics.anl.gov site.
